Objectives
At the end of Kindergarten, pupils should be able to:
- Begin to recognize what is right and what is wrong;
- Share and take turns with others;
- Relate with others using appropriate social conventions;
- Develop curiosity and thirst for learning as they probe and explore;
- Listen and speak with understanding;
- Be comfortable and happy with themselves;
- Develop physical coordination, healthy habits and self-help skills enabling them to do age-appropriate tasks independently;
- Participate in and enjoy a variety of artistic experiences;
- Develop love for God and for their families, friends, teachers and school; and
- Acquire sufficient cognitive, literacy, and mathematical skills that will prepare them to deal with new life situations and tackle higher academic tasks in the elementary level.
