Objectives

 

At the end of Kindergarten, pupils should be able to:

  1. Begin to recognize what is right and what is wrong;
  2. Share and take turns with others;
  3. Relate with others using appropriate social conventions;
  4. Develop curiosity and thirst for learning as they probe and explore;
  5. Listen and speak with understanding;
  6. Be comfortable and happy with themselves;
  7. Develop physical coordination, healthy habits and self-help skills enabling them to do age-appropriate tasks independently;
  8. Participate in and enjoy a variety of artistic experiences;
  9. Develop love for God and for their families, friends, teachers and school; and
  10. Acquire sufficient cognitive, literacy, and mathematical skills that will prepare them to deal with new life situations and tackle higher academic tasks in the elementary level.
